This guide has been produced to help you support your child with mastering the methods we use at Peatmoor Community Primary School for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division calculations.


Inside this booklet, you will find worked examples for each of the four types of calculations with some explanation given at each of the stages within the calculations.

 At Peatmoor we believe reading is an important life skill. Reading is an integral part of the school day and teachers model and teach reading on a daily basis.
