Parent Support Adviser

Colleen Smith is our Parent Support Adviser (PSA). She will be working with families, parents and carers across all of the West Swindon Schools to help them overcome some of the things that get in the way of their child being able to make the most of what school has to offer. Here are some of the ways in which she may be able to help:
>> Running Parenting Groups to help you think about some of the ways that you can support your child. Sometimes it's not easy being a parent and by sharing ideas and getting some tips and hints it may make the job a little easier.
	>> Passing on information to you about other services in the area that might be able to help you to sort out a worry or problem.

>> Support you if you have concerns about early signs of poor behaviour in your child, helping you to nip things in the bud before they get serious.

>> Helping you to express your concerns about your child to the school.

Look on the notice board and see when Colleen is in school and come and meet her!
