On Sunday 15th May, it is International Day of Families. Along with one of our link schools in Gunjur, Gambia, we would like to encourage families to do something altogether. This could be going out for a walk, playing a game, eating a meal, watching a film, or anything else you can think of. The children who attend Pirang Basic Cycle Elementary School will be doing the same on the same day. We would like you to take a photograph of your family experience and bring it to school during the following week, so that we can collate them and send them to Gunjur for the children there to see how we spent the day. We hope you enjoy this day and look forward to seeing what you do. |

Extreme Read Competition - Sept 10
![]() |
Over the summer holidays we once again ran our Extreme Read Competition. We wanted to know the most unusual place the children could find to read a book. So we set them the challenge of having a photo taken of themselves doing just that. Our winning entries were from S. in Yr1 (KS1) and J. in Yr6 (KS2). A big thank you to everyone who took part and well done to all! |
