The final push towards the end of term is upon us and it will be no time before you will be getting your child ready for Year 2!
For those of you who are keeping an eye on our topic on the website, you will have noticed that I have swapped our Literacy around for the beginning of term. With various dates and commitments that have cropped up, it is more manageable this way round.
Homework will be given out on Thursday next week due to Sports’ Day being on the Friday. Please remember to send your child’s Book Bag every day as we will still change reading books even though it is Sports’ Week. On that note, please can I remind you that your child needs to wear sports’ kit every day next week? On Friday they will need to wear a t-shirt in their House colour. If you are not sure which colour this is then you can find it on the Star Charts on our whiteboard or ask a member of staff.
Thank you to all of you for sending in sun cream, hats and sunglasses for your children during this sunny weather. However, I notice a number of children do not have water bottles in school. It is especially important that they have a bottle during Sports’ Week and I would appreciate it if you can provide one by Monday please.
Well done to those of you who have had a play with our new online learning platform. The children are working on it in school and will no doubt be able to tell you what to do.
