Reception: As you know, this term in reception, we are learning about creepy crawlies. This week we have been learning about spiders.

Here are some photographs of us working hard on different tasks

We all made a spider using egg cartons and black pipe cleaners

We learnt that a spider spins a web to catch flies. We used white crayons on black paper to draw our own web.

We also painted a picture of a spider. We had to make sure they had four legs on each side of their body.

We had a look in some information books to see what we could find out about spiders.
