Nov 19th: Help is at hand for dyslexic youngsters"PEATMOOR Community Primary School's efforts in helping dyslexic pupils has been rewarded.

The school received the Dyslexia Friendly School Award from the British Dyslexia Association this week.

Fiona Thomson, headteacher of the school, said: "What it recognises is the worth Peatmoor attaches to providing proper services to dyslexic pupils in the classroom - how we have adapted the curriculum, provided extra resources and extra staffing."

Oct 19th: Learning to veg out"A PRIMARY school has been giving its youngsters a whole helping of healthy food lessons in the hope of improving eating habits.
The students, ranging from ages four to 11, from Peatmoor Primary School, Pepperbox Hill, spent much of yesterday watching Swindon College chefs prepare tasty, healthy, and quick meals."
