26 June: Puppet Theatre
The whole school had a visit from a puppet show last week. The children were entertained with a 'Punch and Judy' type show. It was lots of fun! It was in English for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 but all in French for Key Stage 2. A real success! Click here for more
20 June: Race For Life
Mrs Adams, Miss Gilroy, Mrs Dobson and Mrs Smith all took part in the race for life on Saturday 14th June 2008.
We were all extremely tired by the end and enjoyed a nice burger from the burger van!
 
 13 June: Peatmoor Apprentice Final
On Wednesday 10th June the winner of the Peatmoor Apprentice was announced.
The panel including Sir Alan (Mr. Moody), Margaret (Mrs. Bissex) and Nick (Mr. McGonigle) judged the team leaders from each class.

 13 June: Falklands War Veteran
A veteran from the Falklands War visited the school today from St. Dunstans.
His name was Billy Baxter and he was completely blind.

12 June: Big Trucks
On Wednesday 4th June DHL, in connection with Iceland, brought an 8m long lorry to school for all the classes to look at.
The two drivers discussed with each class the dangers of 'big' trucks on the road.

2 April 08: Reading Incentive
Today at Peatmoor, the children who had read four or more times a week and had recorded their reading patterns, got to jump for half an hour on the bouncy castle.

Easter Monday - March 2008: Litter Pick
Mrs Bullimore says:
"A HUGE thank you to all who came out on a cold Easter Monday to help with the litter pick. We managed to avoid the rain and the snow!!
